History
Since our inception in 1881 as a family business, we have developed incrementally, supported by a long tradition and a programme of continuing investment in new and modern processes.
We supply to both lock manufacturers and the key replacement trade, and it has helped us to become the UK's leading manufacturer of keys and key blanks, now supplying worldwide.
As a way of demonstrating our knowledge and appreciation of the industry, we have published a book entitled "100 Years Plus of Keymaking" (ISBN 0951531972), a guide to the history of keys, key making and locks. The book is available from us direct at a cost of £5.00 including postage and packing in the UK.
To commemorate our long history and continue our legacy into a new era at our new premises, we commissioned the design of a photo timeline to be shown in the reception of our new offices.
